i'm applying for a booth at the renegade craft fair this summer, so am working on getting a few new aluminum items ready to go... design is a messy process
last time i was in the twin cities i picked up a case of these really cool amber glass ampules at axman (or as i call it, the happiest place on earth). they seem destined to become a light shade, but i haven't yet decided the best way to weave them all together. here's a mockup i made of one connection concept.
just back from the foundry - a fresh cast of a new light fixture i'm working on. it definitely still needs some refinement, but not a bad first prototype
